Shown here are our liners grown into a nursery one gallon pot. (6 inch) The wooden stake pictured is 6 inches. Beyond showing our liners vigor we wish to allow our friends in the European export industry to see healthy Epimedium root structure. We were once told to forego growing Epimediums in a large or deep container. "They just don't root down into a pot" or so the continental expert insisted to us!!!
Yep..that's the drain hole in the bottom of a 6 inch pot. I guess somebody forgot to tell this Epimedium that it can't root this deep!!!
